Definition of semantix
1: of or relating to meaning found in musical score that supports the directors vision

Semantixsound is a Canadian composer collective based in and around Toronto, Ontario. The company was founded by Sean Croley, Tony Lind, and Kevin Wideman in January 2017, producing music for television, film and corporate clients. Working with companies such as NorthFilmCo, High Rise Studio, Aligned Vision Group, Film.ca, and publishers both in New York and L.A., their music can be heard both domestically and abroad.

Sean Croley

Founder | Composer | vocalist | Keyboardist

Can be heard on 90+ album projects - Studied recording engineering and music production at the acclaimed Fanshawe College in London, ON. He has owned and operated IIdB Studio for the last 26 years - Finished second overall in Canada in an international song writing contest - Has been writing for a library in LA and NY with song placements in both radio and television spots along with Canadian indie Films.

Tony Lind

Founder | Composer | Guitar Player

Has played guitar on over 100 albums -- He has played on, and co-written, songs that have appeared on Canadian and U.S. television shows and television movies --Has performed/toured with various artists across Canada, the United States, the UK, and parts of Europe and South America

Kevin Wideman

Founder | Composer | Vocalist | Keyboardist

Attended University of Western Ontario where he graduated with an Honours Degree in Music--worked with such composers as Trevor Morris, (History Channel - Vikings, Olympus Has Fallen) writing and singing on jingles and having the opportunity to play with Jeff Healey, Alex Lifeson and the Dexters--He has written for film, various music libraries, corporate productions and gymnasts all over the world.

the music can do its job in telling what is not said and showing what you cannot see , I’ll get a hold of a film and watch it twenty times in a week. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon until the film tells me what to do ,

Portfolio widget instructions

Adding Images to the portfolio section
1. To add Images to the portfolio drag over the image widget from the left.
2. Remove all margins and select no border | Select lightbox plugin or external link.

Editing the filters
Each portfolio image can be filtered via the buttons at the top of the portfolio section.
Each button has a filter code assigned to it (filter1, filter2, filter3, filter4)
To assign each image to filter(s):
1. Go to (DESIGN > Edit CSS/HTML > cr-home.html)
2. search for (CTRL+F) "Portfolio Items"
3. Each porftolio image has it's own block of code that looks like this:

4. as you can see in the code above the image is set to use "filter1"
5. To change this you simply put the filter names you want to use.
For example, if you wanted the image to filter when using button 3 and 4 you would change the code to this:

To add more than 12 images
1. Go to (DESIGN > Edit CSS/HTML > cr-home.html)
2. search for (CTRL+F) "NEW PORTFOLIO"
3. Add this block of code for each extra image you want. you need to change the "folioXX:content" to the relevant number (EG: "folio13:conent")
and set the filters as per the instructions above.
